United States; Bronze gilt with red, white, blue and green enamels, 45.5 mm x 47.2 mm, original ribbon with brooch pinback, intact enamels, scattered gilt wear, near extremely fine. Accompanied by its 10.5 mm x 36 mm ribbon bar with pinback and two 4 mm x 17 mm enamelled ribbon bars with button hole attachments, in their hardshelled case of issue, marked "LEGION OF MERIT" above "LEGIONNAIRE" on the lid, exhibiting light scuffing on the lid, case near extremely fine.
