A Second War German French Style Tropical Field Blouse

Fabricated from olive coloured cotton, with matching plastic button securing the collar in place at the rear, with both shoulders adorned with straps to allow for the fitment of slip-on tabs. Each of the straps is held in place by a matching plastic button. The front has two pockets sewn in place, one on each breast, each pocket with a decorative pleat and fold over flap with reinforced button hole for the plastic button. The front has a vertical row of seven plastic buttons on the right side, facing an equal number of reinforced button holes on the left side. Both cuffs are single-vented and in the button down style, each with a plastic button, along with a reinforced buttonhole for a snug fit at the wrist. The interior is stamped “37” for size, with multiple black stamps featuring a national eagle, but illegible writing. A size medium-large, in overall mint condition.
