A German Wehrmacht Heer (Army) Officer’s Brocade Dress Belt & Buckle

An extremely fine example of a Wehrmacht Officer’s brocade dress belt, constructed of densely woven strands of silver aluminum bullion wire, and two rows of horizontal green lines running along the entire side of the belt. The underside of the belt is constructed of olive-green cotton, with a butterscotch-coloured leather tab stitched in place on the underside of the right end, with thirteen rows of double vertically oriented holes for length adjustment, and stamped 110 in blue ink on the bottom of the tab for size reference. This belt is complete with two sliders, with matching uppers, one with an olive-green cotton backer attached. The belt measures 119.5 cm x 44 mm. The belt buckle is constructed of aluminum, with a silver aluminum finish, with a standard Wehrmacht Officer’s belt buckle motif on the obverse; the reverse with standard double-claw prongs and stamped catch; accompanied by an aluminum receiver; measuring 48 mm in diameter; in near mint condition.
