A SS EM/NCO’s Standard Issue Belt Buckle by Overhoff & Cie; Ground Recovered

In nickel-silver; the obverse with a standard SS motif consisting of a national eagle with spread wings, clutching a static swastika in its talons, and the SS motto “Meine Ehre heißt Treue” in raised lettering surrounding the wreathed swastika between two ropes; the reverse with standard double-claw prongs and a soldered-on catch; maker marked “C.&O.” for “Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid” and “Ges. Gesch.” on the reverse; measuring 63 mm x 47 mm; ground recovered; in overall better than fine condition.
