A Third Reich Period Mainz Freemasonry Long Faithful Service Cross

A Mainzer Freimaurer long service cross; constructed of silver (marked “800” along with the traditional crescent moon and crown on the reverse); the obverse in the shape of a cross pattee alisee, with white enamels on the arms of the cross, and with turquoise enamels in the center; the center with a static swastika circumscribed “Zum Goldenen Rad”; with four crowned lions between each of the arms; the reverse marked “Allwege Trew, old German for “Always Faithful”; on loop for suspension, with a correct replacement ribbon; measuring 62.38 mm x 56.45 mm; weighing 33.8 grams; attractive patina from age; in extremely fine condition.
