A Mexican Imperial Order of Guadalupe, 3rd Class Knight's Cross for Civil Merit, Type III (1865-1867)

Mexico; Four-piece construction, silver gilt with red, green, white and blue enamels, unmarked, 35.7 mm x 60 mm inclusive of its crowned Mexican golden eagle perched on a prickly pear cactus devouring a snake suspension, replacement incorrect ribbon, chipping evident in the green enamels on the arms on both sides and on the centrepiece on the reverse, better than very fine.
