A well preserved example of a NSDAP “Parteiabzeichen”; in gilt bronze and black, white, and pebbled red enamels; the obverse with a black mobile swastika (Hakenkreuz) in the centre within a bed of white enamels, with a red enameled edge inscribed “Nationalsozialistische DAP”; the reverse plain, with a horizontal pinback; maker marked “RZM M1/6” for “Karl Hensler of Pforzheim” on the reverse; measuring 23.00 mm in diameter; weighing 5.1 grams; the enamels with light contact marks but free of chips or cracks of any kind; in extremely fine condition.
