Footnote: The Flemish Factory Guard (“Vlaamsche Fabriekswacht”) was organized on 1/5/1941, by Cristian Hendrik Turcksin, who was chosen as a the leader. This organization wore black uniform, and were under the command of the German Luftwaffe, though this unit was only situated in Belgium (Flanders); it’s goal was to secure and protect the factories, roads and communication centers against attacks by the Belgian Resistance.
