A Luxembourg Order of Merit of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Grand Officer's Set

Luxembourg; Grand Officer Cross: three-piece construction, Gold with red, white, light blue and silver enamels, hallmarked on the loop, 51.8 mm x 57.7 mm, on its original full-length neck ribbon; and Breast Star: two-piece constructed cross in Gold with red, white, light blue and silver enamels, mounted to a twelve-pointed silver star base, unmarked, 83 mm x 83.5 mm, vertical pinback flanked by dual prongs. Intact enamels, extremely fine. Accompanied by its 9 mm rosette with push pin attachment, in their hardshelled case of issue, raised platform with recessed medal bed for the Breast Star, light wear on the exterior, case near extremely fine.

Grand Master of the order is the Grand Duke of Luxembourg. It is awarded in five classes: Grand Cross, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer and Knight.
