A Promotion Document to Flak Oberwachtmeister Egdorf, 4th Battery of Flak Regiment 6

Measuring 206x298mm, extremely fine condition with two folding creases and two punched holes. The document states that Wachtmeister (Sergeant) Herbert Egdorf of the 4th Battery of Flak Regiment 6 has been promoted to überplanmäßiger (in excess of authorized allowance) Oberwachtmeister (Master Sergeant), effective January 1, 1943. It is dated to January 8, 1943 and signed by a Colonel and Regiment Commander, however the signature is indecipherable and doesn’t seem to fit the one of Commander Kurt Wege, who led the unit at the time, nor his predecessor or successor.
