A second war German “Verwundetenabzeichen”; oval shaped silvered feinzink; the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm in the centre featuring a large mobile swastika on its side superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel leaves with a tied bow at the bottom; the reverse plain with a vertical needle style pin, an integrated hinge, and an integrated wire catch; maker marked “L/16” for “Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid” on the reverse; measuring 36.45 mm x 44.03 mm; weighing 24.6 grams; with all of its original silver finish worn off due to age and wear; in overall near very fine condition.
