A 1870-1918 Württemberg Order of Friedrich Knight’s Cross First Class with Swords; silver gilt cross pattée with sun-rays between the arms of the cross; the obverse with a silver gilt cipher of Friedrich I within a bed of white enamels, surrounded by a silver gilt ring; identical reverse; with crossed swords suspended from the top arm, suspended from a period original ribbon with a paper label reading “Wurttemburg Order of Frederick Knight I Class with Swords” on the reverse; unmarked; measuring 36.48 mm (w) x 35.93 mm (h); weighing 24.5 grams; slight loss to the silver gilt, but with nearly untouched enamels; in overall better than extremely fine condition.
