"Italy (Venice); Silver, obverse illustrating a female figure representing Abundance or Plenty, holding two cornucopias filled to the brim with harvested products, a lion at her feet to her left, inscribed in Latin ""BONORVM"" at the left, ""AVCTRIX"" to the right and ""- B : C -"" below, reverse inscribed ""PAULUS REINERIUS PRINCIPIS MUNUS AN : I 1779"" in the centre, surrounded by a full-wreath of leafing, 33 mm, the osella encased in a 46.2 mm (w) x 45.7 mm (h) unique ornate silver frame with horizontal pinback, extremely fine.

Footnote: This is an osella (a coin or a medal) issued by Venezia (Venice), in commemoration of a bountiful harvest, issued by Paolo Renier in 1779. Paolo Renier was ruler of Venice between 1779 and 1797. "
