A fine first war German Imperial Prussian Pilot’s (Flugzeugführer) badge; in solid silvered brass; the obverse with a standard pilot’s badge design within a wreath consisting of oak and laurel leaves, with a bow on the bottom of the wreath, ordained by the Prussian crown at the top; vertical tapered pin, a barrel hinge, and a flat wire catch; measuring 45.12 mm x 74.62 mm; weighing 37.9 grams; a lightly worn example in very fine condition.
