A certificate, measuring 210x297mm, near extremely fine condition with light scuffing and minimal discolouration. It states that Anton Sondermann from Gießen (central Germany) is awarded the Aircraft Reporting Service Badge (no. 416,231). The right to wear the decoration expires ends with the resigning from the Aircraft Reporting Service of the Reich Air Raid Protection. The document is dated to Darmstadt, Hesse on November 15, 1935 and is signed by the Head of Division for Air Raid Protection, his name could be A. Pabst of similar.

Footnote: The members of the Flugmeldedienst (Aircraft Reporting Service) were responsible for the early detection of enemy aircraft offenses from the ground. This task was often performed by women. The Flugmeldedienst was founded in 1932 and transferred to Luftwaffe control in 1939.
