Germany (Brunswick, Prussia, Imperial), Austria. First War Group of Five: Prussia: Iron Cross 2nd Class (silver frame, with iron core, magnetic, maker marked "S-W" (Sy & Wagner, Berlin) on the ring, 42.3 mm); Prussia: House Order of Hohenzollern, Knight's Cross with Swords (silver with black, white, green and blue enamels, maker marked "FR" (Gebrüder Friedländer, Berlin) and marked "938" (silver) on the edge of the bottom arm, 39.5 mm x 59.8 mm inclusive of its crown suspension); Brunswick: War Merit Cross, 2nd Class with Clasp for Two Years of Unbroken Service at the Front (bronze, 30.2 mm); Imperial: Hindenburg Cross for Combatants (iron with a bronze-coloured gilt, magnetic, maker marked "O.1" (Orden-Herstellergemeinschaft, Pforzheim) on the reverse, 37.5 mm); and Austria: Military Merit Cross, 3rd Class, 2nd Period (1914-1918) (silver with red and white enamels, 31 mm). Parade-mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, original ribbons, intact enamels, extremely fine.
