Germany. An SS EM/NCO’s Standard Issue Belt Buckle

A SS EM/NCO’s standard issue belt buckle; stamped metal (magnetic) with a silver aluminum finish; the obverse with a standard SS motif consisting of a national eagle with spread wings clutching a wreathed static swastika, and the SS motto “Meine Ehre heißt Treue” in raised lettering between two ropes; the reverse with standard double-claw prongs and a soldered catch; unmarked; measuring 64 mm x 47 mm; with the majority of its original silver finish worn off; in overall very fine condition.
