A well preserved example of a third reich period Polish Federacja Polskich Związków Obrońców Ojczyzny/Federation of Polish Union of Defenders of Homeland honour badge, in silver and gilt bronze as well as red, white, and blue enamels, the obverse with the logo of the organisation superimposed on a four-pointed star, the reverse with a complete screwback assembly, maker marked “W. Miecznik, Grawer Warsawa, S-To Krzyska 20” on the screwback; measuring 41.34 mm (w) x 41.18 mm (h), weighing 31.3 grams, in overall extremely fine condition.
