An extremely well preserved example of a first war period Bosnian service “Fez” cap; with the body constructed of maroon-coloured felt “fez”; with black tassels on the top of the cap, along with four badges attached to the cap itself, consisting of 1) An Austrian Franz Joseph I (FJI) regimental badge, 2) A 1914-1915 World War Bosnien, Hercegovina, Dalmatien: regimental badge, 3) An unknown regimental badge, 4) A Number “8” regimental badge; the interior plain, with a cracked and partially missing, with multiple stamps and cloth tags; measuring 187 mm in size; in overall better than very fine condition. Worn by Bosnian moslems who served in Austrian Imperial Army.
