Spain. An Order of Military Merit, Silver Cross with White Distinction, Type IV (1875-1931)

In silver, 31.2 mm (w) x 46.8 mm (h), glue residue evident on the reverse of the original ribbon, light contact and surface wear, better than very fine.

Footnote: The Order of Military Merit was instituted on August 3, 1864 by Queen Isabel II and revised on many occasions (1931, 1936, 1942, 1970, 1977, 1995, 2003). It is awarded for acts of bravery, distinction, service or merit by members of the Armed Forces, or civilians in support of the military.
