Germany, Police. A Standard Enlisted Man’s Belt Buckle

A fine example of a third reich period Enlisted Man’s belt buckle for the Schutzpolizei, Kommunalpolizei, Gendarmerie, and Luftwaffe Fire Service; in cast aluminum; the obverse with a pebbled finish, featuring a raised mobile swastika in the center, circumscribed “Gott mit uns” above a halved oak wreath; the reverse with a standard double claw belt keeper and integrated belt catch; maker marked “Julius Maurer of Oberstein an der Nahe” on the reverse; measuring 64 mm x 48 mm; in overall extremely fine condition.
