An example of a field made DAF (Deutsche Arbeitsfront/German Labour Front) belt buckle; with the center insignia period-replaced; the core of the buckle constructed of brass, with DAF symbol in silvered aluminum superimposed in the center; buckle is standard size, visible on the reverse are the prongs used to attach the original insignia to the buckle; measuring 48mmm x65mm, unmarked, in worn condition.
