A fine example of a Wehrmacht Heer (Army) EM/NCO’s belt buckle and leather tab; the buckle constructed of stamped steel (magnetic), with the standard Wehrmacht belt buckle logo on the obverse, consisting of a circular rope with the lower half of the circle filled with an oak wreath, and the other half inscribed “Got Mit Uns” with a smaller circular rope, with a raised lightly textured field with a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika in its talons; with a butterscotch-brown leather tab, maker marked “Scheider, Lüdenscheid, 1940”; the buckle measuring 64 mm x 47 mm; in overall very fine condition.
