A wartime made example of a complete Wehrmacht Heer (Army) Officer’s visor cap insignia, consisting of an eagle and a wreath, 1) The eagle constructed of silvered zink; two of three prongs broken off; maker marked “RZM 39” for “Robert Beck, Pforzheim” on the reverse; measuring 65.81 mm (w) x 26.60 mm (h); weighing 8.0 grams. 2) The wreath constructed of zink; with both prongs fully intact on the reverse but bent; with a tri-colour cockade; unmarked; measuring 65 mm (w) x 43 mm (h); both with all of its original finsh worn off, in overall fine condition.
