An extremely high quality manufacture set of Imperial Bavarian Major Flying Korps shoulder boards; constructed of silver wire Russian braiding, with black interwoven “arrows”; on a gray wool core that slightly protrudes from the sides, with a silvered zink aviator’s pip on each board, along with two bronze Bavarian buttons; measuring 45 mm (w) x 109 mm (h); both boards with moderate mothing and some remains from previous collector’s mounting; in overall near very fine condition.
