A fine example of a third reich period RAD (Reichsarbeitsdienst/National Labour Service) cap insignia; constructed of painted aluminum; with both prongs fully intact on the reverse; maker marked “L&M” for “Lind & Meier, Idar-Oberstein”, dated “38”, and marked “Ges. Gesch.” on the reverse; measuring 45.99 mm (w) x 38.06 mm (h); in overall better than very fine condition.
