In bronze, engraver marked ""M. Delannoy"" (Maurice Delannoy) on the obverse, 29.5 mm, original ribbon, large edge nick, near extremely fine.

Footnote: The Medal was instituted in 1925 by the Fédération des Anciens Combattants de la Rhénanie et de la Ruhr, with the agreement of the Ministries of War and of Foreign Affairs, for those of its members who served at least three months in the German territories occupied by Allied forces after the First World War.

Dr. Goodwin had a successful career as an educator and prominent physician in New York as well as actively serving in both World Wars with the United States Medical Corps. He maintained further membership with the American Society of Military Collectors, the International Orders Research Society, and the American Numismatic Society.
