Ca. 60 photos, measuring between 60x44mm and 179x130mm, very fine to extremely fine condition. The pictures are a mix of candids and staged photos, almost all with a First War pilot theme. Only very few pictures are dated, one postcard was sent in November 1915, and some shots are from June 16, 1918. The pictures show pilots in front of their planes, group photos of soldiers having a party, pilots in front of their planes, or planes on the ground or in the air, biplanes as well as triplanes. Several of the soldiers wear Iron Crosses 1st Class, as well as pilot and observer badges. The collection also includes several aerial photos, among them reconnaissance pictures. In one picture a hand is seen holding a 20 kilo bomb. There are two photos of crashed planes, on one of which it states on the reverse that the observer, an NCO, died.
