An example of a period first war boutonniere, with two decorations, consisting of 1) An Iron Cross 1870 Second Class with a 25-Year Jubille Clasp, and 2) A War Commemorative Medal fo 1870/71 with a Orleans and Metz medal bar; with a bow-tie ribbon consisting of both ribbons; attached to a bronze gilt boutonniere; unmarked; all original strikings, in overall extremely fine condition.
