Germany. A Volks-Comrade Union Westmark (Lothr) Membership Badge by W. Redo

An example of a Deutscher Volksgenossen Bund (DVG) Westmark membership badge; in silvered bronze and black, white, and textured red enamels; horizontal pinback; maker marked “W. Redo, Saarläutern” on the reverse; measuring 23.56 mm in diameter; weighing 5.0 grams; with the enamels very well preserved, without chips or cracks in the enamels; in overall extremely fine condition.

Footnote: This membership stickpin was worn by Germans living in the Alsace-Lorraine Region of France who supported the annexation of that region to the Third German Reich in 1938.
