A mint 1933 National Socialist Day of Flight “Nationalsozialistischer Fliegertag” in Saxony plaque in its original presentation case; constructed of copperwash bronze and extremely fine quality pebbled red enamels; the obverse with a badge attached to the plaque centrally; three drill holes for attachment; maker marked “Karl Wurster, Markneukirchen” on the reverse; measuring 67 mm (w) x 71 mm (h); weighing 86.6 grams. Accompanied by its presentation case; constructed of heavy pressed paper with a black/green faux crocodile leather (leatherette) exterior; with a lined interior lid, lined recessed medal bed, functional spring catch with stud release, intact interior fabric hinge cover, and a functional exterior metal hinge; measuring 78 mm (w) x 97 mm (h); in overall mint condition.
