Klasse mit Schwertern”; Maltese cross in bronzed alloy; on loop for suspension (unmarked); with an absolutely mint and unissued ribbon; the obverse with crossed swords between the arms of the cross and a circular raised border of oak leaves on the obverse with a raised mobile swastika in the center; the reverse with a circular raised border of oak leaves bearing the institution date “1939” in raised numbering; measuring 46.79 mm (w) x 46.64 mm (h); weighing 19.1 grams. Accompanied by its original packet of issue; constructed of paper; with “Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern” printed in black Gothic lettering on the obverse, and with “Klein & Quenzer A.G., Oberstein” written in the same style on the reverse; measuring 58 mm (w) x 107 mm (h); in overall mint and unissued condition.
