Sudan; Two-piece construction, silver insignia mounted to a silver gilt five-pointed star base, marked "SILVER" on the reverse, 40.7 mm (w) x 54.3 mm (h) inclusive of its silver gilt coat-of-arms suspension, original ribbon with pinback, scattered gilt wear on the edge, near extremely fine. In its cardboard box of issue, marked "LDSO ARMY" on the lid, slotted medal bed, with an additional original ribbon, box extremely fine.
