Germany. A General Assault Badge Miniature Stick Pin

A mint and unissued second war German “Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen” miniature stick pin; oval silvered zink; with an oak leaf border and a pair of acorns at the base, with a large Wehrmacht-style eagle with folded wings clutching a mobile swastika, and a crossed bayonet and stick grenade in the centre; the reverse plain; with a 51 mm long needle pin; measuring 13 mm (w) x 17 mm (h); having lost some of its original silver finish through time, but in overall unissued condition.
