Germany. A Dutch NSB Labour Card to A. Sluis Rozema

Measuring 90x120mm, near extremely fine condition with some scuffing. The owner is A. Sluis Rozema from Rotterdam-Pernis. He had taken his vows in November of 1936. On January 1, 1944 he was appointed to a specific function that is stated as “Vert. Strydfonds”. This may refer to a position with the “Strijdfonds” which collected money to support the NSB.

Footnote: The NSB was the Dutch equivalent of the German NSDAP, the national socialist party. NSB stands for Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging in Nederland, National Socialist Movement in the Netherlands. It was founded in 1931. During the German occupation of the Netherlands the NSB remained the only legal party. (C:166)
