An example of an absolutely mint and unissued Police (Polizei) NCO’s portepee; constructed of fine aluminum wire; the head in multiple rows of twisted wire and thread; the centre of the head in loops of embroidery; the stem in a knotted design; the black strapping is highlighted with aluminum and red stitching, with the slide matching the strapping; the lower stuffing in black, red, and silver; the knot measuring 38 mm (w) x 58 mm (h), with a 36.4 cm long band; in overall mint and unissued condition.
