A second war Black Grade Wound Badge (Verwundetenabzeichen); oval shaped blackened metal (magnetic); the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm in the centre featuring a large mobile swastika on its side superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel leaves with a tied bow at the bottom; the reverse plain with a functional pinback assembly; maker marked “107” for Carl Wild of Hamburg on the reverse; measuring 36.77 mm (w) x 44.33 mm (h); weighing 11.5 grams; with light loss of the original black finish; in overall near mint condition.
