An example of an uniform removed Wehrmacht Heer (Army) NCO’s breast eagle; constructed of fine silver aluminum wires twisted around a white fabric core, and machine embroidered into the form of a national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika; on a dark green (Flaschengrün) wool backer; still attached to a piece of the original uniform; slightly soiled from use; in overall better than very fine condition.
