A Black Grade Wound Badge (Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz); stamped blackened metal (magnetic); the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm in the centre superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel leaves with a tied bow at the bottom; the reverse plain with a functional hinge/catch assembly; unmarked; measuring 38.04 mm (w) x 42.44 mm (h); weighing 7.4 grams; with virtually all of its original finish remaining; in overall near mint condition.
