Germany. A Silver Grade Luftwaffe Squadron Clasp for Bomber Pilots

An example of a well preserved Luftwaffe Bomber Pilot Clasp; silver grade; constructed of silvered tombac; the obverse with a central downward-pointing winged bomb and a static swastika on the bottom of the wreath, with laurel leaves on either side of the wreath; horizontal banjo style pinback, with a barrel hinge and a flat wire catch; measuring 76.66 mm (w) x 25.84 mm (h); weighing 18.7 grams; with nearly all of its original silver finish remaining; in overall near extremely fine condition.
