Germany. A Gold Grade Luftwaffe Squadron Clasp for Bomber Pilots

An example of an extremely well preserved Luftwaffe Bomber Clasp; gold grade; constructed of silvered tombac; the obverse with a central downward-pointing winged bomb and a static swastika on the bottom of the wreath, with laurel leaves on either side of the wreath; horizontal banjo style pinback, with a barrel hinge and a flat wire catch; measuring 77.01 mm (w) x 25.75 mm (h); weighing 19.3 grams; virtually mint condition.
