Measuring 78x116mm, near mint condition. The collar tabs, shoulder strap (note that only one is worn), and cuff title identify the man as a member of the staff of Allgemeine SS Oberabschnitt (district) Südwest (Southwest). He is of SS-Sturmmann rank and wears an Honour Chevron of the Old Guard on his right upper sleeve. His decorations consist of an SA Sports Badge and a Wound Badge 1914 in Black. His ribbon bar shows an Iron Cross 1914 2nd Class, a Baden Military Merit Medal, and a Hindenburg Cross with Swords. A photographer’s note has been glued to the reverse. The name of the man is Hermann Siglin from Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance. He serves on the SS Wachkommando (Guard Command) in Tettnang (near Lake Constance). The photographer is J. Arnold from Munich.
