A set of absolutely mint and perfectly preserved SS-Totenkopfverband collar tabs; first pattern; consisting of two collar tabs; one constructed of extremely fine quality flat silver aluminum wires spun around a thin white fabric core; machine embroidered into the shape of a traditional SS skull superimposed onto a set of crossed bones; on a black wool backer glued onto a standard buckram core; with fine twisted aluminum cord sewn to ordain all for edges of each tab; the other tab similar in construction, but without the embroidered skull; measuring 41 mm (w) x 55 mm (h); in absolutely mint condition.
