(Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Bronze). Constructed of an oval bronzed zink oak wreath; the obverse with a national eagle clutching a swastika on the top and a bow-tie on the bottom, along with a Karabiner 98k with the bayonet attached to the front of the barrel and the carrying sling hanging from the rifle set diagonally across the badge; the reverse plain, with a vertical needle pin, a crimped sheet metal hinge, and a crimped round wire catch; maker marked with the stylized logo of “Gebrüder Schneider, Wien” on the reverse; measuring 46.82 mm (w) x 61.54 mm (h); in overall better than extremely fine condition.
