American made in Bronze gilt, unmarked, "1939-1945" reverse, 37.5 mm (w) x 45.2 mm (h) inclusive of its ball suspension, original ribbon with pinback, extremely fine.

Footnote: This United States issued War Cross (Croix de Guerre) is a copy. It was manufactured for decades, with the dates "1939-1945" on the reverse and an American-style pinback attached to the ribbon.
