ID card measuring 111x163mm, very fine condition with scuffing and creasing, and some damage at the folding crease. Doctor’s note measuring 147x103mm, very fine condition with folding crease and three minor tears. It states that Wulle was cared for at the university hospital in Rostock (northern Germany) from June 15 to July 19, 1939. The course ID card was issued by the Rustin Educational Institute in Potsdam (west of Berlin), a company selling correspondence courses for adult education, enabling those that missed out on a regular education to get a high school certificate. The card states that Wulle from Gotenhafen (modern day Gdynia, northern Poland), born May 13, 1921, is eligible to participate in the Rustin correspondence courses. These were realised through letters sent between the student and one or more teachers of the institute. Once the student was confident he or she would pass the exam, they could enroll in one at a high school of their choice.
