Fabricated from a fine dark gray wool with a fold down flap, with two rising peaks forming a valley between the two panels, the underside of the flap in a white cotton/nylon blend, hand inscribed in blue ink "11-24" on the white cotton/nylon underside and hand inscribed "11-24" in white ink on the facing dark gray wool body of the cap on the right side, the flap trimmed in red piping, each side with three silvered eyelets for ventilation, a 31.5 mm (w) x 37.5 mm (h) cap badge in gilt aluminum with red, blue and white enamels affixed to the front, a 52 mm (w) x 32 mm (h) MVD Eagle (Internal Affairs) & Spetsnaz Badge in gilt aluminum with red enamels pinned in place on the left side. The inside is lined in dark gray nylon, the 23 mm wide sweatband in a simulated black leather, a white cotton tag hand inscribed in blue ink with the size "57" sewn in place at the rear seam. The cap measures 275 mm (w) x 128 mm (h), without interruptions in the fabrics and is free of mothing. Near mint.
