Germany, Heer. A Period Wartime Photo of Soldiers Pledging Allegiance to the Flag

Measuring 138x88mm, better than very fine condition with light scuffing, minimal discolouration, and some warping. The picture postcard shows several soldiers swearing the soldier’s oath to an army unit flag, probably an infantry unit. The oath is called “Fahneneid”, flag oath.
