Measuring 87x58mm, very fine condition with light warping, some scratching of the surface due to the writing on the reverse, and remnants of adhesive tape on the reverse. The picture shows a Heer soldier in the field, wearing the Knight’s Cross, the German Cross in Gold, the Iron Cross 1st Class, and the Infantry Assault Badge. Behind the Knight’s Cross is a ribbon for the Eastern Front Medal. His ribbon bar shows the Iron Cross 2nd Class and a Long Service Medal. He holds the rank of Lieutenant. The photo is signed on the reverse, the man’s first name is Klaus, the last name is illegible, as is his position “in a Füsilier Regiment”. The photo is dated to February 1944.
