(Allgemeine Sturmabzeichen mit Einsatzzahl 50). Constructed of oval silvered zink; with an oak leaf border and a pair of acorns at the base, with a large Wehrmacht-style eagle with folded wings clutching a mobile swastika, and a crossed bayonet and stick grenade in the centre; the reverse plain with a vertical broad pinback, with a crimped barrel hinge and a crimped flat catch; maker marked “RK” for “Rudolf Karneth, Gablonz an der Neiße” on the reverse; measuring 47.38 mm (w) x 57.52 mm (h); weighing 32.5 grams; in better than extremely fine condition.
